Isn't this face so sad! Out of all the pictures I took this day of him in his blessing outfit, this was the only grumpy face! Ben is only 1 month old in this picture. They grow so fast!

I ♥ Faces -- Green

This weeks theme is green. I had a hard time finding pictures for this theme, so I got the camera out and just went crazy taking lots of pictures of Ben. I just love his smile in this picture! He loved playing with that flower! The 2nd one of of Ben with his great-grandpa at Thanksgiving. I love my grandpa's genuine smile!

Fix-it Friday!

I decided to start participating in the Fix-it Fridays on I Heart Faces to help me improve my photo editing skills. So, here are my fixes for "Cutie Pie," I used Photoshop.

Original:

Fix #1: For this one, I used the Magic Wand tool to get rid of all the stuff around her face. Then I used the shapes tool to put a black rectangle in that area. Then I used the blur tool to soften the edges around her face.

Fix #2: For this one, I did the above steps, but I changed the black rectangle to white and then used the "texturizer" filter. I think it has a nice effect and helps to hide the imperfections.

Aren't these boys the cutest! I took this picture really close up to their faces, so almost no cropping was needed, but I did cut off a little.

Pictures of England and France

In the Spring of 2006, I had the amazing opportunity to travel for 3 weeks to England and France. I love the architecture there and most everything was just beautiful! I took thousands of pictures, but here are just a few of my favorites.
